NTSA resumes normal operations after successful eLogbook transition

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has resumed normal operations after completing a planned system update linked to the transition to the e-logbook system.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the authority confirmed that services are now fully restored following a temporary shutdown that affected users across the platform.

The update comes after a scheduled downtime that was meant to support system improvements and ensure a smooth shift to the new digital process. NTSA had earlier informed the public about the interruption through its official communication channels.

Service resumption update

NTSA explained that the system downtime was necessary to allow technical teams to complete upgrades linked to the e-logbook transition. The authority said the process was part of wider efforts to improve service delivery and strengthen system performance for users.

“The NTSA system has now resumed normal operations following a successful transition to the elogbook,” NTSA stated.

The authority also issued an apology to users who experienced inconvenience during the downtime. It thanked the public for their patience and support as the system changes were being carried out.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and continued support,” NTSA added.

During the transition period, users were advised that some services would not be fully accessible. The system was expected to experience intermittent unavailability as updates were being implemented.

The authority had earlier announced that the system would be temporarily unavailable for a period of 16 hours. The downtime began on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 4 pm and was expected to end on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 8 am.
